thanks for the tip chelonian.

about the legs. they have to go in the top and if they are too short the coil is really high off the deck. i wanna get it lower i think. maybe ill try a vertical coil again with some wick on the deck.

the issue i had was that even with the 3og coil and only three or four wraps my vapor production was dismal at best. I dont know if this is an issue with the batteries, or the atty, or the mod, but it simply does not perform.

I will have to try again

Hmm, your vapor production on a dripper should be good. Even at 1.5 ohms or so on a 14500. On mine, I won't win a competition, but it's not so little that looks different.

I get about the same vapor as I do out of a Russian on a Provari, the battery just lasts less time.

How long does your battery last?

I wish I could explain how I test a wick by hitting the button and blow on it after I build it...that way we could find out if the problem is the topper or the something from the wick back.

Has the mod always produced weak vapor? Also, do you have another mod and atty that hits good, that you could swap attys with?

hey guys. just checkin in. I guess maybe i am being a little bit too picky or something. maybe the mod isnt supposed to be that great lol.

Chelonian to answer your question my battery will last two hours or so. I vape a lot at my desk so when im on it heavy the vapor production will drop off slowly until about an hour and then it drops off faster. I wonder if the low resistance is making my batteries wear out? i dont know haha. this is my first mech mod ever so I am still, even after 6 months, getting the hang of it all.

How often do you change your wick? I find that I am changing mine out pretty often. I use the 100% pure cotton balls from cvs. I typically get a nice burnt taste with a brand new wick until i get more vape flavor. I wish it could just be awesome from the time i rewick lol

I'd go with builds around 1.5 ohms since you're using a 14500 battery. That should still produce good results with either a dripper or RBA yet give decent vape time from the battery without stressing it.

I just ordered the Nemi clone so I can give real results soon with my 14500 setup.

check the contact screw on the switch and see if it's tight,....most definitely try another atty first...also on a 14500 i never go under 1.2....been using a Novice clone and it hits like a truck...was only 20 bucks

what atty are you using? do you think that might be my issue?

im assuming here that not all atty's are made equal,

and no i dont have another one to try.
