A friend wanted a true bahama mama,so I did a quick search online to see what was in it and this is what I came up with..He says it is very true to the drink.I am only at 2% with the pomegranite, but thinking of going up to 3%.The grenadine syrup used in bahama mamas is pomagranite based and it really helps set it off..I use this for 10ml.
TFA jamacian rhum-1%
TFA coconut-2%
TFA pomagranite-2%
TFA orange cream-2%
TFA pineapple-1%
they seem like low % but I like to start low so I dont blow up the recipe, and I have found that TFA pineapple is pretty strong and tends to overwhelm any recipe I use it in if used much over 5%.But again,I am a cautious mixer. I am getting therapy for that.
