Like any other recipe, ratios of flavoring are USER preferences. Although I find these to my liking, It may not be best for ALL.
Different brands of flavoring may taste a bit different as well.

Orange (FlavourArt) 6%
Mango (FlavourArt) 5%
Pineapple (FlavourArt) 5%
Coconut (Capellas) 6%[/QUOTE]

I mixed this up last night and it's a winner!! I like it better than the original recipe. Again I used all TFA flavors with the exception of the orange which was FA. I liked it so well I mixed up a 30ml bottle today. You should enter this in the OnestopDIY recipe contest....Thanks for sharing! Any other good recipes? The Flamingo is steeping.

Well, if anyone here is trying to use mainly TPA flavorings to complete this recipe do not try to compensate % with the fact that Flavour Art is typically more concentrated.

For example, some Flavour Art concentrates are a bit more potent than Flavor Apprentice. Most of the time, I try to compensate for this when testing DIY recipes that primarily use Flavour Art. When I attempted to compensate for this recipe, I ended up with a flavor that tasted rather foul. I think I ended up using about 20% flavoring but even at that strength it was far too overwhelming.

Definitely recommend sticking to the actual flavorings used with this recipe. Hope this saves you guys some time and taste buds!

Good info Brettc on different strengths between the brands.
Another point I would like to mention is the taste of different manufactures flavors tasting different from anothers.
I have tried Cherry flavors from FOUR companies and found them ALL different in taste. A couple where nasty medicine tasting to a chemical after taste. Yuck!

Which one was the best? I've never tried cherry b/c so many ppl have given negative reviews on them. Were either of the two that were not "yuck" true enough in taste to be called fruity cherry? Please and thank you.

Actually No Sea, I wouldn't recommend any Cherry. Haven't tried FlavourArt Cherry yet.

Okay I love the flavor of Bahama mama but something happened to my juice as it steeped. I was vaping it like crazy when i first mixed it without any issue. This morning when i took my first toot i choked on the vapor, the flavor was great but the TH was extreme! I thought my carto had burnt out on that first toot and that TH was caused by it. But to my surprise it was still working. Well the second toot was just as harsh, too harsh to be vaping. I tried the juice in a 5 Ohm atomizer and still had the extreme TH. I tried adding more VG thinking it was the nic but it still had the TH. I can't figure it out, I love the flavor of this Bahama mama but it's choking me like crazy! I'm starting to think it might be an allergic reaction to one of the flavors but why wouldn't i have experienced the TH last night? I got RTV base that should be here today so i will make a new batch and see if it's the same TH problem.

That is strange. I've vaping lots of it being my main vape. It does change colors after a few days but haven't notice a change in flavor or throat hit.
What Companies flavors are you using? and what PG/VG ratio did you use?

Thanks for the quick reply, it is very weird... I'm using 50% PG from mad vapes, 50% humco VG (walmart), my base that i use in every flavor i make. Nothing new in the base so i highly doubt that is where the TH is coming from. All flavors are TPA that i just got in 2 days ago except the orange from FA. I have vaped the orange before without anything like what im getting so i doubt that would be the cause. That leaves me thinking one of the other flavors or combination of flavors is killing me in the TH. One more thing i noticed is that the juice got cloudy over night, it was easy to vape clear but now it's TH city cloudy. I would have made more by now but the mail woman is BSing and didn't bring my order even though it was scheduled for delivery today.

Thanks for all your help breaktru, 50/50 base is the same mixture i have been using for a long time, but now that you mention it that Bahama mama i made was the very last of my 36mg PG. Makes me wonder...

I tried the lower voltage but it only made it more tolerable due to less production, but it was still there. That was the first thing i tried. I really really want to figure this out cause the flavor is great!

No PGA Seabrook, It's one of the flavorings that is bothering me. I made a different flavored juice that was just as delicious and haven't looked back. I'll try leaving out one of the flavors in small batches to see if i can find out what was choking me. I think I might be allergic to pineapple cause the fresh fruit makes me itchy, but canned pineapple doesn't. I just always thought it was the pesticide used as many fresh fruits make me itchy.

This is only speculation on my part, but I've experienced a similar problem but I think it's the bottle(s) I'm using. I mainly vape and make fruity flavors.

I have some 30ml bottles I've re-purposed that I got from OSDIY shop, that originally contained 36mg nic. I've been using these to make my bigger batches once I have a recipe I like. I too have found that (for me anyway) about halfway through the bottle the taste changes and it becomes more harsh. I'm going to try the same recipes with glass bottles to see if it makes a difference. I may be way off the track here, but that's the only thing I've done differently.
