If you can get VG which should be possible. And you can get tobacco. You could in theory make your ejuice using the tobacco to get your nicotine. Here's a video of a guy that did just that.

There was someone from Egypt with a similar issue. You might be able to hook up with someone traveling there and they could bring some extras. Maybe start a FB page? I know with the crackdown in Maylasia we'll probably be hearing more of these situations.

I probably could have quit smoking with just PG/VG solution and some flavorings. when I was a newbie, it just never occured to me. I need the "behavioral" ritual of smoking, that's all.

That made me wonder, if patches, gum, etc. are legal over where you guys are? If so, perhaps you can wear a patch and / or chew the gum, and still vape 0% nic and just make vape juice without it?

Hmmmm... makes me wonder if the guys on the U.S. military base there in Bahrain are having the same problem. Their mail usually ships through military channels though, and mostly avoids the customs scrutiny. If that's the case, maybe you could make friends with someone there... I'm sure there are some guys on the base that vape! If I were still active, I'd gladly bring ya a box full of juice!

On the other hand, as everyone has said before... if you're not adding nicotine to your DIY mix, then you really shouldn't have any problems getting the VG/PG/Flavorings... all of those things are approved for cosmetic or food usage.

A friend worked at the embassay and they had to follow local laws when it came to shipments. There were exceptions but at a higher level. There was one day a month when they'd bring in beer and hot dogs. But every 48 hour pass everyone would hop a plane and get out of the country, usually to greece. Then they can bring in whatever as personal goods again. I have no idea about military or contract workers in US compounds. This was a long time ago and less hostile.

But I guess your point is that there is a system to get goods through, just need to figure it out. That's no way to help a country stop smoking. There are a few vendors that try to use creative packaging when shipping to challenged areas.

So for example I ordered juice online without nicotine would pass through customs?

It may, vg pg and flavorings are all used for lots of things. So at the very least you should be able to order stuff to make your own juice.

Pre mixed juice with markings indicating it's to vape may not make it through.
