Dude, from an outside party, I don't see how he ripped you off... You both did exactly what the op asked for... How did exactly did he rip you off? he used a different background, different placement of the item and a different font. You aren't making any sense... The op did ask for some choice, not just you with 20 slightly different versions of the same crappy banner. Sorry, get over yourself. It's a contest and other people are allowed to enter...

As to the similarities, I'll let comon sense rule.

I would not.
Coming from a design background, I would. How much can you do with what the op asked for? Like I said above, not being mean, but you have 20 different versions that look exactly the same. His IS different and unique. File size doesnt mean a thing, that can always be easily fixed.
Dude, he has a different background, different fonts/colors different positioning and size of the item... Its totally different...
I will agree that it is totally different from any other design he offered.
The differences from his other work only strengthen the similarities with mine.
Similar: differing only in size or position
The similarities are quite striking.
And the differences from his other designs is quite radical.

so ... unless i am not allowed to rotate the "Super T" picture in a position that u have rotatated in your creations then i might inspired from your's ... but yet again ... in that 392x72 working space its really hard to avoid similarities to other creations imho.
I'm really sorry if i made it similar to yours , Forcedfuel can exclude that one if he think's its not appropriate.
