We've tested these notch coils a little bit. They do have VERY fast ramp up, but the wattage is limited to 60 at a maximum,and the legs are very fragile. It's easy to wick, etc and the flavor is good, but I honestly feel other stainless steel wires perform better. I took the notch out of the theorem and put in some of our wire and got better performance, albeit a slower ramp-up, but that is entirely my opinion. They do have a few pros, but cons too. Super fast ramp, easy to wick, premade, etc. but fragile legs, questionable about the solder/weld etc, wattage limitations, and size issues on lots of devices. It's an interesting innovation though, I'm always on the look out for new designs like this.
