See more about other fat battery chargers in my next post.

The Ego will not fit on all slim 510 chargers and will charge very slowly on them. And a 510-T charger can fry an Ego or 510 as will the charging cable of one clone 510 (FS510 and maybe other clones - we don't know). . buy an Ego charger cable, label it on both sides of the screw-in end piece so you don't accidentally charge a slim battery on it (will damage slim batteries)

These are handy - put up to 4 assorted battery cables on it

Oh and duh I am not reading well today. If your Vgo is 510 threaded then a real Joye Ego should be able to share its charger AS FAR AS I KNOW.

And what I said above stands for those other batteries. 510-T chargers are weird and are only for 510-T. Slim normal 510 chargers sometimes do not have a big enough opening for the fat collar of the big battery models, and also only put out 150 to 200mA for charging whereas an Ego charger cable puts out 420mA. That is the same reason you cannot charge a slim 510 on an Ego charger - it will degrade and damage the slim batteries (happened to me - a vendor sent me an incorrect charger cable in my first 510 kit and it damaged 4 slim 510 batteries before I spotted it was not the right cable). As for reverse polarity clones (FS510, and at least one Ego too - Ego-J or something) will electrically fry in a normal charging cable and vice versa. Attys and cartos don't care about polarity.

I do not know for a fact that Vgo is the same polarity as real Joye Ego but I have not heard of any problems like that. its charger is probably fine for a REAL Ego. I am not saying anything about any clone Egos - caveat emptor. I do know the Liberty Flights Riva 510's are the same polarity as a real Joye Ego.

BTW if your Vgo is a real 3.7v devices, the Ego will run things a bit cooler. Ego is not 3.7v (more like 3.3v).

Correct.

At Liberty-Flights, press the 20% off upper left front page. Then look at Riva 510. The Lite Bundle of 2 complete Rivas and a charger is under $30. If you get a single battery and charger, I know the SE batteries are 3.7v and you would have to ask about the other single batteries (if any are the older model they would be the same voltage as Ego). The kits are all 3.7v since he sells a lot of kits and his kits are the new model.
