Cheers folks.
I admit, I'm still a bit new to much of this, so my apologies if this is a stupid mistake/question, OR if this is the wrong forum for such a thing.
Recently, I moved on to an eGo C-Twist and Pass Through, both of which I loved, and hadn't really had any problems until just now. After ordering some highly citrus flavors from MBV, I needed different tanks / cartos that won't melt (learning experience there...). Just received a few Pro DCTanks (Polypropylene, specifically listed as OK for citrus / cinnamon flavors) and new 510 DCTank cartos, 1.5Ω suggested by the vendor.
Now here's the fun.... I filled the first carto as I have since I started this, dripping in perhaps 10-15 drops at a time then letting it sit for about 5 min and adding more, repeating a number of times until it didn't appear to be seeping in as readily and I could take a puff and not have it taste "dry". Add carto to tank, fill about half way with juice, take a few puffs and it seems fine. As I'm sitting and reading, I reach over for my eGo and take a puff and get the *shloooop*shlooop* of an over filled carto. Dafuq? I look at the tank and honestly there's maybe an 1/4 of an inch of juice in there! Take the tank off and the connector is drenched. In the time it took me to put down my laptop, bring my eGo to the sink and get on rubber gloves, there was about half as much in the tank. Hardly any at the bottom, which I wiped down with paper towel, but looking at the carto it was completely saturated. I mean soaked.
So essentially, I'm assuming I did something wrong here. My guess is I didn't fill the carto enough and the cotton inside just SPONGED up a lot more than was needed. Or, could it be the carto? Maybe the hole at the bottom is too wide? I've never run into a problem exactly like this. One minute, vaping away merrily, the next, hard to vape and all soaking wet. I HAVE over filled cartos before, mind you, a few times with my very first kit, but haven't seen anything like this before.
Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.
