Biotene. That's the stuff, they make a toothpaste which i'm hoping will do the trick.
I've just googled tongue bite and that does describe the inside of my mouth pretty well. Irritated tongue and with me spreads around my back teeth. I don't usually get sores in my mouth, they are usually on my lips.
