Interesting video. Glad I watched, I was under the impression I'd have to tape up my batteries/etc, would have never just thrown them in a bag like that, but guess there is no real threat of a short/etc inside a plastic baggy.

Strange ad at the front from the site. Interesting link, but not fully functional or some parts blocked by my browser.

will be flying out to Europe tomorrow. Quick question. What is the purpose of putting Bag #1 (Juice bag) in the bin that goes through the scanner? is it MORE suspicious to keep it in the bag? I'm thinking either way they may question, but just wondering if you had ever left the bag juice in your carry-on bag while it goes through the scanner.

edit: also want to confirm bag 3 (attys, carto's, carts) stay in the carry-on bag as well going through the scanner?

So either way, you shouldn't have a fully assembled e-cig with you whether carry-on or checked luggage right? just to be safe?

another question I had which I couldn't find was, if it's different in Canada. I'm hoping not, but I'm worried because Health Canada (equivalent to FDA) has not approved this and worried that my e-cig WILL get confiscated.

As for Bag #1 - In the US, you are supposed to place it in the bin with your pocket items. This is really for the ease of TSA. Many other countries ask you to do the same. Although, I will say that on my flight back from Manila and my stop in Tokyo - I completely forgot to remove it from my backpack! No one asked a question...and Japan does require you to display your liquid bag.

Bag #3 can stay in your carry on - I have never had a problem with this. But that's 1/2 the reason for the bag...to keep it all organized if for some odd reason you do get checked. It's also to keep cart, attys, and cartos from leaking...and to make it easier to get your PV back up and running when you reach your destination.

Can't say much about Canada...but so long as they haven't banned eCigs and made them illegal, you should have no problems!

Most of these bans seem to effect retail sales or customs stopping 'large' purchases. Dont believe they would give you any trouble for 'personal' items/qtys, just like the FDA never really went after individual orders, just the big batches (no money in the little guy's pocket). If you are worried you can contact Canadian customs/etc. Only country you might have problems is AU since they have banned the nicotine liquids, but again not sure if this is just wholesale qty's or even personal supplies. Of course even AU would not care about your equipment or non nicotine liquids. They just have a thing against anything with nicotine in it.

I'm actually leaving for Manila in 2 weeks. I wanna take a lot of my vaping stuff with me...i.e KR808, Volcano Inferno(looks like eGo), and my Big KaZoo box mod. Everyone is telling me I shouldn't take these, especially the Big KaZoo because they might look suspiciosly like some sort of detonator...but I keep reading that no one really has problems with bringing these types of devices along for air travel...I don't know what do. I put a lot of money into these PV's and dont want them to be confiscated...

Edit: Well, after watching basilray's vid(couldn't get it to play for the longest time), I definitely feel a ton better about the situation. Just gotta pack in a way to keep the suspicion down to 0. Great advice basilray, thanks so much for making that video, especially since we got some common ground in commuting back and forth to the Philippines.
