What does that mean? When I inhale the LED comes on just fine, but no heat to the atomizer - swap batteries and it vapes fine...so it's not the atomizer.

Sounds Like The Standard Problem Of The Center Pole (electrical contact) Between The Battery and Atomizer Are Not Touching When Screwed Together (Due To Different Lengths & Variances). Assuming You Screwed It All The Way On (Never Crank It, Slight Turn To Touch Only).

The Center Contact Post Got Pressed in A Hair, You Can Lift It Back Out Very Carefully With A Paper Clip or Round Wood Tooth Pick. Just Give It A Little Tiny Rock, Then Try It, Repeat If Needed. But Be Gentile, Read Below.

What: You Have To Be Sure Of The Connection.

How: The Center Pole On The Battery or The Atomizer Can Be Gently & Carefully Lifted out a Half MM Or Less!, Don't Twist or Turn It, It Sits in a Silicone Grommet. Easy Way to Do It Is With A Little Metal, Plastic or Wood Pick, Insert In Hole, Gently Wiggle At & Up At 12 & 6 O'clock Positions. Don't Over Do It, Just Do Each Spot One! Then Give it A Shot (Meaning Try It Out). Again Very Very Gently! And Don't Turn Or Twist It.

That Should Take Care Of It, Check My Other Posts As Well. :D

See my newly posted Staple Mod in the Modding Forum. That is just what you need to try. I have done the Cellmeister procedure before with hit or miss results. If this does not work, I would say the battery is toast.

I'M RIGHT HERE
had same problem with 1 of my 901 battery's, did the toothpick wiggle thing and got it to work. hasn't done it since.
on another note, today i charged a battery and when it was done ,i went to remove it from the charger, started spin it out and guess i tightened it to much , cause off pop's the light end & here comes the sleve sliding off the guts of the battery, by then i had twisted and broke the little connecting wire so then i just got the screw part stuck tight down in the dang charger, tried turning it out with the now empty sleeve, that didnt work. finally after 20 minutes of picking and tinkering i got it out. geeeeeeeeeezus

Yes, I think the way these things work is there's a microcontroller in the battery section that has a flow sensor that detects when you draw and responds by turning on a small FET (Field Effect Transistor) that literally connects the battery to the center pole being discussed. If the center pole between the battery section and the atomizer isn't touching, there's no juice. Now I think that if you unscrew the atomizer from the battery and try to measure voltage between the center pole and the side, you're going to see no voltage? I know this is how my PR111 works. This is because without drawing, the microcontroller has the FET switch off. This doesn't mean your battery is dead though. Excellent advice about wiggling the center pole back up a little bit. I'll keep this tucked away in my mind's attic.
