batt chargers

I know you guys can explain this! When charging my 510s, Rivas, 302, and M-402, the charger light Never turns green in the length of time the directions say the batts should be charged. Am I supposed to go by the directions or wait for the green light (if it ever happens)? No problem charging mod batts, the light always turns green in a couple hours.

1. Are you using the proper chargers for the different batteries?
2. Do the batteries ever get warm after a long time on the charger?
3. Do you run the batteries all the way down until the LED flashes? If so, it could take longer than average to charge them.

Yep, using all the correct chargers. I've labeled them all with tape. I just had one that 510 got warm, and a 402 that got hot, that I trashed. I do wait until they blink to recharge (thought you were supposed to). Wrong?

You do not have to wait for them to start blinking to recharge, it may be even better to recharge them early, they don't have to stay on the charger longer. If they do get hot(not warm), let them cool and try again, if they quickly warm on recharge, they are most likely ready for the round can.
