Batt issues

I have a prosmoke. I believe to be like a short m401. When I take a long, slow drag..... well, any drag for that matter the led light comes on and off. If I take another quick drag it cuts back on. I have cleaned the area. It seems to lose connection some how.
This is happening with both of my batt so I am wondering if it is another issue. I have another atomizer so I tried it, and on both it still seemed to cut on and off. This is an automatic e-cig.
Any suggestions on how I can this thing rolling? I would hate to have to send this thing back. I paid more for already than I should have and I had problems with the batts not working at all when I got it. The company sent me new ones and now 1 out of 4 work properly...... :(

My 510 Autos do that when I gice an inconsistent, low draw. Didn't bother me untill I got a manual eGo. I have been converted! Autos are OK, but they do have their problems.

If you have 1 out of 4 working, chances are the other 3 really are bad.

But clarify if you can you vape with it? i.e. is it just a hassle to get the thing started or will it not vape at all? Finicky switch?

If that is not the case, try "deep cycling" the battery before giving up, it will only cost you time.
Drain the batt by blowing through the back end. Do it while watching tv it may take a while. Every once in a while flip it around and take a puff on it to see that the light no longer comes on at all, and make sure you blow some more after that. You want it fully drained. Now charge it up for 3-4 hours, or at least an hour longer than you would a new one. Sometimes you can salvage a battery with a deep cycle like that.

Poor quality equipment will ruin your enjoyment of vaping. I can't say anything good or bad about prosmoke as I havent heard of them before. But hear my little story below.

On my 1st PV purchace I had my first 2 batts go bad in 2 days, some of the carts didnt work at all and the ones that did only gave me 2-4 analogs worth of vaping. I contacted the vendor and had they sent out 2 more batts and another 8 pack cartridge sampler for free. On the 2nd day one of the new batts went bad. Funny but I could actualy taste the new carts and some lasted for 4-6 analogs worth. In the mean time I found this site and did alot of reading only to find out that I started with the wrong equipment. I returned all of the junk and got a full refund (30 day $ back) and placed and order with a reputable company from a much more informed decision. I got twice the equipment and juice from the new company for the same money that I spent on the original one.

Determine wheather you have faulty equipment form a good company (and have them replace it), or if you chose a cheap brand not knowing any better (dump them like a hot potato).

I have purposely not mentioned either company for a reason. I will say this, as a 30 yr + 1 pack a day smoker, I was completely off analogs my from my 1st day with the cheap brand. I knew that vaping was the answer just not the equipment that I started with.

Thanks ehuman.
Prosmoke is one of the more expensive companies. They had great reviews so I went with them. So far they have worked with with me I just can't seem to get it going.
2 of the bad batt. don't work at all. I can charge them for hours and the get the green from my charger but they don't do anything...
The other one kinda overheats. The LED light don't go off and it starts to
get hot.
I sent them another email telling them I am sending the 3 batts back and would like another working one.

I too, knew I was done with analogs the first time I started vapeing.. I love it.... I just have to get this thing working right for me. I had about a good 6 days with it working perfect and I loved every second of it...
May I ask what company did you got your good working one from?

They had great reviews so I went with them.

I have had no dealing with the company you bought from, but I keyed on the "great reviews" comment. Could I ask where you found the "great reviews"?

Often, e-cig reviews end up in vendor forums, testimonials on the vendor's website, or on youtube (you can find anything on youtube :))

Reviews catch quite a few newbies.

The hardware at V4L is great and can't complain about the carts or juice either but I just ordered some juice at MadVapes on a recomendation and can't wait for it to come in.

Welcome to MadVapes LLC
60ml bottle of juice for $15.99
50ml bottle of juice for $10.99
30ml bottle of juice for $8-10
10ml bottle of juice for $4-5.5

I'll let you know what I think when I get it in and sample it.

I found the reviews by google'ing e-cig reviews. Some were on u-tube but the people said they were not getting paid and they were usually comparing 2 companies. It was EXPENSIVE... considering what I have found since ordering. I wanted a good product though.
Their customer service has been great so far. They have worked with me to get me a good working product. However, I am nearing my 30 days and need to consider sending it back.
I need it though. I tried to smoke an analong yesterday, really just because and it was nasty. I tasted all the filth in it.... I can't go back to that. I just love the vapor... I just need to get me a reliable product...

Thanks for the info on madvape will most def havta check that out once I get me a good product to use it with....

I found the reviews by google'ing e-cig reviews.....

That is exactly how I found and thought "Green Smoke" was the bee's knees. For some reason it popped one of the first few non sponsered hits on google. :<(

Oh well, the learning curve must be traveled.

Like I said before though, if it wern't for the technical issues I would have stayed with them, for a while at least. It was enough to know that vaping showed great promise but with failing carts and batteries in both of my orders (and reading the same story from alot of others) I doubt that their repeat customer base grow much if at all. It would actually cost more using them than analogs based on the amount of stuff that actually worked vs price and consumption rate.

ehuman I have been really lucky with prosmoke. When I made them aware of the problem they instantlly sent me 2 new batteries out. When I let them know I was still having problems they told me they would get me more batteries out and they were very supportive. They even gave me free carts. for my troubles.
I am currently awaiting for the new batts. They should be here Monday. I have one that works well so for now I am using the one batt but I llooovvveee it. I am also very happy with the good customer service that prosmoke has offered. I will get my new batts in and send them back the ones that don't work and I am sure I will be happy!!!:D:D
