hey guys

havin a lil trouble with analogs cuz of bad batteries!!

when i started vaping i was a v4l customer and fan, and since then ive tried a few other kr808 brands. the batteries all pretty much seemed to work the same. my last v4l order gave me two dud batteries, which their customer service was great about and didnt mind sending me replacements, but it made me less confident in their products. its been over a year since i needed a new battery and i saw v4l had the zeus and DAV which are very expensive but look to be non-generic and finally true proprietary v4l products. im intrigued with the dial a volt because it seems to have a very long life and i think its a nice feature to adjust the voltage, and the zeus' appeal to me is the battery life and quality.

i wanted to get a really good battery with great performance and quality, not just a generic chinese brand, but since v4l batteries turned out to be practically the same as generic chinese with their bottom level series when i was told they were much better, which wasnt the case, i dont know if i want to spend the money at v4l, cuz its $40+ for one battery now, to have the same realization happen.

of course, if the dial a volt and zeus are that good and worth the money, ill gladly get one, but id like to hear feedback first and also hear some other suggestions. also does the dial a volt and zeus battery work with the old wall plug chargers from the v4l starter kits or do you need a new charger for them? is the dial a volt automatic sealed so that liquid dripping into the battery wont be a problem?

so please give me some tips and advice on a new battery and suggestions and information on new products/batteries .

i really wanna quit smokin altogether like i did when i first got my starter kit. please help me out

thanks a lot guys

Can't say about the Zeus, other than it seems way overpriced. The Dial A Volt looks like a rebranded Vision Spinner, right down to the Fatter and shorter 1300 mah battery. Of course the dial a volt doesn't have the normal 510 and Ego cone threading the regular Spinner does.

If the Spinner is what you are looking for, you can get better deals with the 510/ego threading and use most of the delivery systems out there. You won't be locked into V4L products. Here is one kit to look at, http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

Something else worth looking at, https://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004594/1383905-itaste-vw-v3-0-7-in-1-variable-voltage

Either one of these kits opens up a whole new world of accessibility to juice delivery systems, both are 510 and Ego threaded, allowing you to pick and chose what you want to use and to look for the best deal on toppers.

Get something like this:
KGO kit1100mAh by SLB
Then all you'll need to replace is:
Smok Tech Redux
KGO batteries 1100mAh
And those clearomizers have replaceable heads so it will be even cost less:
Replacement heads for Smok Tech Redux

hey thanks for all the links and how to set it up. doesnt look too bad. btw, do any of these products have some kind of 808 thread converter/attachment because i have a lot of 808 carts?

thanks pal

thanks so much for all the info and these links. the second looks quite cost effective i think. llike i asked above, are there any that use 808 threads or have a converter attachment because i have a lotta 808 carts

do you guys have any suggestion for an 808 as well? just a battery so i can finish up these carts and then i think i will move into the type that you guys suggest

i should add, the reason i went with 808 is for the ease of use and compactness. are there any pv's that are comparable in size and ease of use (2 part system)

thanks guys

--------
ordered a V4L DAV as its the only auto adjustable 808 batt atm...2 piece system for now and then if i stay on the wagon, move to the above suggestions....thanks again

You can also take a look at Smoketip.com. They are having a special right now where you get 2-for-1 starter kits for $60. They have a lifetime warranty on the batteries so if they ever go bad, all you have to do is get a RMA number from them and send it in. The only catch is in order to get a replacement, you have to either pay $19 for shipping OR order a 5-pack of cartos for $19. I've used their warranty exchange on 3 separate occasions with no problems.

Also, you can try Smokeless Image batteries. I just ordered one of their manual KR808 batteries and so far, so good.

I think you'll be happy with the DAV, as far as I can tell it is a re-branded Spinner with the 808 connection. Spinner is pretty good, I hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

As for the adapter, Madvapes has many styles, here is 510 to 808. 510 to 901/808-D Adapter

Here is one going the other way, although it is out of stock. 901/808D Battery to 510 Atomizer Adapter

Just something to keep in mind for future reference. Madvapes does carry quite a bit of hard to find items.

Sorry about the delay, had to work. Best to you.
