Ok guys, I need new batteries for a regulated mod, specifically, the iov mini 2, looking for good batteries to get, thinking about the Samsung smurfs, mxjo's or LGHE4, not VTC4/5's though. Please suggest. Nothin higher than 30 Amps

You're in luck! Nothing higher than 30A exists!

Don't get MXJO's. They are re-wrapped LG's.

I dunno why you'd not want VTC4's, as they are reliable batteries, VTC5's don't exist anymore.

The CDR rating is how many amps the battery can discharge safely. The amount of amps being used is a direct result of whatever power setting you set your mod to. So a higher CDR is always safer. HE4, HE2, 25R, VTC4/5 are all great batteries.

According to kidneypuncher, the iv mini 2 will draw a max of 25 amp from the batteries. Many would say that this means the vtc series are the only safe batteries to use with this mod. But I don't think you will have problems with any of the above mentioned batteries.

Thanks a bunch guys, I'll definitely look into those LG's and I didn't want Sony's cause I've had two bad experiences with my old mechanical mod, (a paragon v2) and sony's it's probably a fluke, but I'd like to stay away from them for now. Again, thanks a bunch
