Looking for some new batteries for my Lavatube. 2200 mah, doesnt last me a whole day since im a heavy vaper. Found some rechargable 18560 4000mah on ........... What is the criteria for 18650 batteries for use in Lavatube?

Most nipple batteries will not work on the lavatube. You need flat tops. The only ones with nipples that work are AW IMR batteries.

If the batteries you are looking at are 4,000 Mah - its probably the Ultrafire black and gold battery - they will not fit - they are too long and the bottom of the mod wont screw on properly. I really only like to use IMR batteries in my lavatube. Madvaps and Litecigusa.net sell IMR batteries on the cheap and they work great. I buy 2 batteries per mod. If your a heavy vapor (i am too) you will go through a battery a day. Just keep one on the charger. If your going out - just put a fresh battery in your mod before you leave.

Also, if your by the computer a lot. Get a passthrough - I always have one plugged in on my desk. You find you reach for it a lot and save the life of your batteries.

Do NOT use the 4000mAh Ultrafiires. The BRC battery line (4000mAh black and yellow, and the 3000mAh silver and red) are intended for low drain devices and perform horribly at higher loads. Personally, I wouldn't use them in anything more powerful than a kids nightlight.

You don't want to use anything but high drain batteries. IMR or ICR. And they don't make those >2200mah. Read the following thread for some recommendations and lots of technical detail (prepare for your eyes to cross):

If you're going through more than one battery a day, I'd recommend carrying a spare. Get a battery box or a case to carry it.

Also, batteries will wear down over time and the mah rating on a generic battery is dubious, at best. You may find that a brand new Panasonic batt will last you all day, even though it's 2250mah.
