What size battery? 18650, 26650, 18490/500.
What are your CDR requirements?

18650"s --
30a CDR;
Orbtronic sx30 2100mah 30a CDR.
Sony VTC4 2100mah 30a CDR.
Xtar 2100mah 30a CDR - re wrapped vtc4.

20a CDR.
AW 1600mah 24a CDR.
AW 2200mah 20A CDR.
LG he2 2500mah 20a cdr
Samsung 25r 2500mah 20a CDR.

As mah increases CDR decreases, no way around it.
Only buy batteries from reputable vendors/ dealers.

sony's are going to be a thing of the past. They are getting hard to find from a reputable vendor. You will want a battery capable of handling 30amp. Look around at places like sunvapers, rtdvapor and lighthound. All great places to buy batteries. I personally only used sony's for the last year or so. They will be needing replacement shortly so I too will be searching for a good viable option in due time.

0.5 ohms is roughly 8.5A draw... so yes, you'd be good to go...
You can use The Steam Engine to figure out how many amps you are drawing with a particular build.
Use the Ohm's Law calculator and plug in 4.2V and your measured resistance for a mech... or whatever voltage you are using on a regulated device.
There is also a coil tool there that can make coil wrapping a little easier... but you still need to use a meter to verify your builds and to check for shorts.

The Xtar would be perfectly fine... it IS a VTC4... just rebranding.
As long as it is an IMR with at least a 10A continuous draw limit, at 0.5 ohms, you'll be safe. Higher is obviously better...
Check out the link in my signature "Bad's Awesome Blog"... there is a lot of info there on batteries and battery safety (among several other useful things).

because i can go get a panasonic or samsung from a shop in my town and another battery store says that they have 18650's but they didnt give me a direct this is what brand we have so I just want to be educated before buying a battery

I am not trying to be rude, but I think it would be best to slow down and read / understand the batteries we use and basic battery safety practices.
Always measure the resistance using an ohm meter / dvom before firing on a mechanical and re check it every so often to ensure it hasn't changed. (bumping coil loose screws, re wicking, dropping / rough handling)

If your local shop has samsung INR18650 20R 2000mah 22a CDR or the samsung INR18650 25R 2500mah 20a CDR they are good batteries.
( INR,,,Not the ICR series)
