Hi Souls2VA! :) Welcome!

Do not use a kick with the VV device.

You can use 16340s or 18350s on this device. The recommended are the AW18350 IMRs....and we've found them to have about the best run time in our house. You can get through about 5.5mls on a full charge with a 2.5Ω atty and the mod set at about 4.5 volts. Do not use unprotected Li-Ion batteries. Just don't do it.

You can also use the batteries recommended by Buzzkill for his BuzzPro device.

Just wanted to see about the Batteries so i can order those now as far a Kick, i just heard people talking about whether or not we would be able to throw one in. Thanks for clarifying Rhapsodies.

No problem. The kick can be used on the Grand and the Woodvil...but not the VV devices.

You can use one, but I don't think you will like the performance. You would have to turn the dial all the way up to get about 3.65v. There is no booster in this.

I think you'd need a lot of spacers to try this as well - two 18350's are taller than 1 18650.

Thats about double than what a Kick gives. I know that its only one data point but I get about 2.25 ml on a battery with the Kick.

In order from tallest to shortest: 2X18350 AW IMR - 2X 18350 BDL IMR - Ultrafire Resisted/Protected 18650 ICR - AW ICR Protected 18650 - Trustfire Flame Protected ICR 18650 - BDL IMR 18650 - AW IMR 18650

Theres only a couple of mm difference from tallest to shortest - about the thickness of one protection circuit or so.
