Because they are not as New as they use to be.

Batteries, regardless of the type, will get to a point that they are not as efficient as they were when new. Chemicals used to make the battery are used up.

Batteries are Consumables, meant to be used up and replaced.

If they are being used and charged daily, then they are approaching the end of their useful life.

7 mos x 30 days/charges = 210

A rule of thumb is that e-cig batteries are good for about 300 charges. You're more than 2/3 of the way there and not all batteries are created equal.
