Can I double my batteries to double the power? or will that simply double the mAh and time between charging? Do I parallel or series? How do I parallel or series? I have a 2xAA box mod, but I want to double the volts for my dccs, while I'm waiting for my vv 3xAA box mod. I don't have room for another batt, but I'll tape it to the box if I have to, just want to try 7.4volts. Any suggestions?

The mods are not really designed to do what your speaking of . If what you want to do is try high voltage , just buy a PV that will do all the voltages , with the proper batteries . A prodigy V3 , A Silver Bullet , and several others , will allow you to do this , in a safe manner . And for what it's worth . Vaping at 7.4 volts doesn't work for most people . Vapor is too hot and tends to be very harsh . 6 volts seems to be the highest , most sane people use . And if you really want to try that , without buying another PV , send me a pm with your phone # , as I live in Vegas as well . You can come by and try any voltage , from 3.3 thru 7.4 on one of my PV's Look at my signature , I have plenty of choices available .

thank you for your concern, but I really wanna just try it? What I need to know is, will the circuitry in my mod handle the extra voltage? I see others stacking batts to get 6v or sometimes 7.4v. Why can't I do the same, or can I? My mod uses one 14500 batt at 3.7v, 900mAh. Another thing I don't understand is how a 5 volt mod is 5 volts, using the exact same batteries 14500 (2x3.7volts) that I do, but it uses two batts, so why isn't it 7.4v? perhaps someone can summarize my curiosity into one informative answer, if an answer exists?

I'd like to add that I've already been using a 5v direct pt. Vapor hot, yes, but I like it. Only prob is it was burning typical carts, which is why I went to dcc. But a direct 5 volt pt doesn't work with dcc's, need protected circuitry. Which is why I got the mod, but got the 3.7 mod, based on ecf people's suggestions. I feel I should've went for the straight to the vv. The two 3.2 ohm coils seem to really bring out flavor like no other cart I've used! I just need a little more power, and I know the sweet spot will end up around 4.3-4.9 volts, but want to all the way to 7.4 volts, One time, just to see how my dcc's do. I guess I can just stack two 14500's and see what happens.

If your mod uses 2 14500 batteries for 3.7 volts , it a regulated 3.7 volts , not doubled like your thinking it should be . A lot of the big battery PV's out there will let you vape at 3.7 , 4.8 , 6 , or even 7.4 , as long as you put in the appropriate batteries . ! 3.7 for 3.7 , 1 4.8 for 4.8 , 2 - 3 volts stacked for 6 volts , and 2 - 3.7 stacked for 7.4 The stacked batteries , are the little 123's .
