I would try verbally berating it in front of your other batteries for the pathetic failure that it truly is. Then I would go out to the garage, grab a large framing hammer, and see if it will respond to physical threats of violence. If you have exhausted both of these avenues to restore performance.......then I guess you'll have no choice but to contact C.S.

If the batt worked with the last carto...the post is fine. If the button depresses in and pops out to the normal position, then the button for all intensive purposes is fine. No LED, could mean the LED alone is not working but the battery is fully functional or it's simply another implication that the battery is completely dead.

What happens when you put it on the recharger?

Just a thought and some information. I read somewhere that when your battery gets weak and will not charge much or won't charge at all, is to freeze it inside of a good plactic bag so it doesn't build up condensation in the battery for at least 24 hrs and let it thaw for 24 hrs and then try to charge it again. I did this with another type of non e-cig battery for my drill and it did work and is not dead anymore. Don't know how long it will last, but for the short term it worked. So if you have a dud why not try it because it is dead anyway.

Well it sounds like it's the connections to the button since the L.E.D. does still function. I'd continue the berating, the physical threats of violence, and I also like the idea of Environment Enhancement Techniques of placing it in the freezer and freezin it's little button off....that'll teach it to be a slacker!

Of course, if it's just a loose wire connection in the button nothing will fix it. Good thing is that there are a lot batteries in stock now to replace it.
