Could someone please tell me what batteries to use in the regular Lava Tube and what goes in the Mini?

Best thing to do is go to the Lava site and see what the manufacturer recommends then use protected or safer chemistry AW batts.

18650 for the lavatube
18350 for mini lavatube

I use AW IMR and CGR18650CH

What maximaseefu said. Especially the Panasonic CGR18650CH for the full sized Lavatube. Don't use protected batteries. Most won't fit anyway. Use the IMR types or the Panasonic. They don't have, and they don't need, that protection circuit.

+1 for the panasonic cgr18650ch's on the full size, they are so much better than the stockers

i use aw imr 18350 on the mini

Where is a good vendor to pick some of those panasonics up from?

will the charger that came with the LT charge these? or do I need a diff one?

thats where i got mine from. The charger that came with the LT will charge them. They are higher MAH so they will take a little longer to charge than the stockers.
