Cheapest reputable place I've found is light hound. You might find a bit cheaper but make sure they are authentic.

On a side note: I've been testing the "famous" Panasonic CGR18650 hybrid IMR 2250 mah. Must say it lasts a lot longer then the IMR and it's slightly cheaper. Same kind of thing, doesn't explode, high drain etc.

Oh the Panasonics I was getting from Super T or Amazon, 2 from Amazon for 13 dollars if I remember correctly.

Depends if you need the button top. If you need them to work in a ProVari as well you would need the button top in which case Super T. If you need only flat top then Amazon is cheaper.

If you guys find some really cheap out of this world AW or Panasonic prices just be cautious. There are tons of vendors that sell the fake IMR's.

I have heard that the Ultrafire batteries are crap. Can anyone confirm this? I use 2 AW IMR 18350s in my GGTS, but they are only 700mah. Ultrafire has the 1200mah 18350s.
Yes, most ****fire brands of batteries are bottom of the barrel. There's a reason they're cheap ;-) The mAh ratings on many battery brands are often overstated, some of them grossly so. They test their capacity under much different conditions than the ones that we impose on them, so that creates further discrepancy between stated capacity and end user experience

ETA - for the record, I've used the 1200mAh Ultrafires in the past and my 700mAh AWs lasted pretty close to the same in terms of vaping time, maybe just a little bit less

For the most part they are. I would check the discharge rating very carefully on any batteries you are buying for unregulated mods. A lot of those x fire batteries simply don't have the discharge rate necessary for low ohm coils. That essentially means you are playing with fire.

I agree, in addition to that you even get more Watts per hour out of the Panasonics compared to the AWs, their Voltage drop under load is lesser compared to the AWs!

this one will work in gg?

Flattop? Not really sure...I use the button tops with no problem. All of mine came from Super T.

I *think* the flattop would work fine, but I also have a few ProVari's and I know the flat top won't work in a ProVari so I just bought the button top.

I really can't see why flat top would not work in GGTS. The flat surface should mate perfectly with the flat connector under the lid.

Much less Manni. Just did a bunch of testing on this. Basically a AW IMR unloaded at 4.0volts on 1.5ohm coil shows down around 3.75 volts loaded. The CGR18650 at 4.0 Volts is like 3.93 loaded on the same coil.

So far great battery. Can't actually believe how much longer it lasts since it's technically only 250mah more. I would say I get 35% more life out of the CGR18650.
