so I ordered these on fast tech

and just wanted to know if they were good for mech mods or not

those are kickin batteries, i pretty much run those in everything now. I have 4 of them from fasttech

just make sure when using a mech you do not go higher then the 10 amp maximum rating of the battery

anything above .5 ohms is cool

im sub ohm now on the cheap value battery im at .4 ohms but its stressing my battery I only planed on going to .5 or .6 but I cant seem to get it its always .4

im using 32 and 28 wire I think its the way im wrapping im new to it.

also I wanted to try the organic cotton balls as wicks do they need to be organic or will regular work

Because of those Panny's 10 amp continuous discharge limit, I DO NOT recommend using them with coils < than 0.8 ohm.

Coil resistance can inexplicably change due to several factors and should the ohms fall to 0.5 ohm then you are at the limit of those batteries and placing them and yourself in danger. Always leave yourself a little safe wiggle room when using batteries for this application. Routinely check you coil's resistance with your multimeter to insure that it has not changed.

If you are hell-bent on using sub ohms @ 0.2 - 0.7 ohm, I recommend getting some of the following IMR or IMR/Hybrids that have a continuous discharge rating of 20 or more amps.
