Thanks, I am gonna read up on the proper care some more and think I may give it a tryHi,
I am using 18650 with Kanger subox mini and sigelei 150w tc and its always been fine.
I have
-18650 xtreme vaping outlaw 2500mAh 40Amp and a 18650 LG for the anger
-a pair of 18650 sony tc 5 for the sigelei
Everything fine with these set up
Thank you!!!+1 it's as safe as you make it. I use 18xxx series barreries all day, every day. In that Nebox, I'd recommend Samsung 25Rs. You can get them authentic at RTDVapor or Orbtronic. You'll want a good charger: think Nitecore or Xtar or Efest Luc.
thanks, I am fixing to read this!!As long as you pick the appropriate 18650 battery for your mod (regarding it's chemistry & amp's CDR), they can be very safe.

18650 xtreme vaping outlaw 2500mAh 40Amp
didn't really advised it, just said what works for me.Really?!!! I don't think I'd be recommending a 'no name' battery to anyone.

I bought it as a spare one with the kanger on uk e cig store, the brand is "vaping outlaw"
Should i stop using it ?
I would. There's no such thing as an 18650 IMR battery with more than 30 amps CDR (continuous discharge rate), so that 40-amp rating on your battery is either a "pulse" discharge rate (useless for our purposes) or an outright lie. It's probably a re-wrapped 20-amp battery, but since there's no way to really know what the actual cell is underneath the wrapper there, I personally wouldn't use it at all. This is why we recommend you always buy name-brand batteries (Sony, LG, Samsung, or Panasonic) and always buy them from a trusted vendor. Illumination Supply (illumn.com), RTD Vapor (.com), and Orbtronics (.com) are three that have good reputations around here. Otherwise, it's just a box of chocolates.Should i stop using it ?
How safe are the batteries like the 18650? Which is the safest, the internal or external batteries, or is that a fair question? I love, love, love my egrip setup but I was wondering about the Nebox. The thing that puts me off about it, is the type of battery it uses.

LiPo batteries should only be used in regulated mods with protected circuitry. DO NOT use them in mechanical mods, being that they don't have protection circuitry. LiPo batteries are not safe chemistry; when they go into thermal runaway they can vent in flames or explode. The same is true of ICR batteries. You might like to read:

You have all the information you need to know how to make a safe and informative choice of batteries, given all the links above.
Personally, I would only use a battery manufactured by AW, LG, Samsung, or Sony. And I would try to purchase them from a reputable distributor such as RTD Vaper, Illumination Supply, IMR Batteries, or Orbtronics.
Batteries are the most IMPORTANT piece of your gear. Don't skimp by buying cheap poor quality batteries. And don't believe the false specifications that many manufacturers claim. @Mooch 's blog has done independent bench tests of most of the batteries currently on the market.
