Not to be left behind....the Panasonic NCR's.
Ideal for their extra capacity and safety and for users who build above 1 ohm.
It's unfortunate that Panasonic does not make more vape specific batteries.
I understand what you meant, but truth be told, NO ONE is making a "Vape Specific" battery.

The batteries that we use for vaping were designed for other uses. Specifically in battery packs for hybrid cars and cordless power tools. These battery packs have their own battery management system (BMS) that ensures configurable, consistent protection at desired current, voltage, and temperature settings to ensure long battery pack life. As vapers, we are primarily using single battery cells alone by themselves, which often means we may be using these single cells at or above their recommended specifications for a single cell. This application is not the intended use for these cells.

This is why it is important to choose your batteries wisely, and never push your batteries beyond their specifications.

So true....
internal limits of the battery one should always keep in mind.

Vape specific batteries...soon I hope.

Battery industry cannot ignore the momentum around vaping for long,
I even foresee solar powered and human kinetic powered mod's soon (pun intended).

Tools like steam-engine, mooch's testings and your updates are always helpful for
battery selection and comparison.

The reason I mentioned Panasonic NCR's is for their capacity , safety and ability to hand external events
i.e., external situations like dents, scratches, drops etc.,.

Many user posts are around whether the battery is still safe to use after an external incident.

I agree, the Panasonic NCR's are very safe high capacity batteries but have low current ratings. At above 7A or so the LG HG2's are a better choice for the longest vaping time before needing to recharge.

Unfortunately, the market for vaping batteries is quite small and the liability risks for the battery manufacturer are absolutely huge. I can't see any of the Big 4 manufacturers releasing a vaping battery. It's just not worth it for them. :-(

Luckily, we have lots of great batteries that we can already choose from! :)
