I have this happen with my 901 battery I got from PS. They replaced it, but the replacement does the same thing. On mine, the green light on the charger goes off and comes back on and the battery blinks. Like when you first put a battery in to charge. I think they are just defective, but there is no point in asking for defective parts to replace defective parts.

I have a new battery and I was charging it. About an hour into it, the battery starts blinking. The charger had a green light on it also. Is this a new way to tell me it is charged? None of my other batteries have done this.

Hi Ann, don't you have a manual on hand? generally speaking, new battery you purchased is not full, you need to charge first befor you using it. When charging, the light will be RED, then it turns green when the battery is full-charged.

More information, when the top of the e-cig blinking, it's a sign of low-battery, the battery needs to be charged.:)

If it's not clear enough, send me a email: sammy@fanglilai.com.cn, i can send a manual to you.

What is strange is the charger was showing it was charged, green light on. I have not had a battery start to blink after it has been charging for a while. I know the battery will blink a few times when you first attach the charger to it. This blinking started after a long time in the charger.

Update: I think I have a bad battery.

Hi Ann,

Please Provide More Info So Someone Can Help. ie, Brand, Model, Place of Purchase, was this just one battery of a set? Is It Brand New, etc, would really help.

Keep Vapin!

Ok, I put the des901 Blue in color set, in the charger and let it charge.
The light went green after about an hour. I was going to let it stay in there longer but it started blinking. I thought that it might mean it was ready to be taken off the charger. I took it out. I hooked it up to the atty and the juice filled cart. I took a big hit and it started to blink as if it wasn't charged. I took another hit and it started to burn off the atty. It kept doing the same thing over and over again. I have not had a battery do this before. I unscrewed the battery from the rest of the stuff and it lights up if you just touch it. It's haunted.
I was told that the switch might be stuck so I gave it a tap on both ends of the battery but it didn't help.
It seems that it's just a bad battery. It happens, so I will just see if it can be replaced. Hey, since this has happend I have learned a lot about
batteries. I didn't know to tap a battery on both ends to try to get the switch to work. It did get one battery to work, but not the other one.

ANN,

Did U Do The Initial 8 Hour Charge? (Your Suppose To for all new batteries) :D

Did You Get an Instruction Manual?

Did You Drip? 8-o

It sounds like you are keep taking of the charger when it blinks after an hour, If So Don't Do That! ;)

If you did do the 8 hour initial charge, leave it on the charger for 4 to 8 hours, then the charger green LED should stay solid green color. Then Try It.

Also If it does not stay solid green color (charger LED) and is blinking red & green or other color (after 4 to 8 hours) then it can be defective, but which battery charger are u using?

Which Charger: The Larger Battery Charger That Plugs into the AC Wall Outlet ? or a USB Wire Type to Computer Port? Or To AC to USB Wall Charger?

FYI: #1
The Batteries Are Not Haunted, The Sensitivity Issue Is Normal For These Cheap Crap Battery Sensors (over sensitive to cause frequent failures and frying of the atomizers), So Mr Manufacturer Please Update The Quality Of This Crap. Thanks

#2 The Green LED Charger Indicators Are Not An Actual Reading That The Battery Is Fully Charged! So Mr Manufacturer Please Install Proper IC and Don't Make Statements That You Are Clueless About! Thanks

#3 It would be nice if The Manufacturers Provided Manuals & In Real English (actually some are, but still suck for new user). The Seller Should be making sure u get instructions as well (check the box).

CellMeister, I got a paper with the order that says what to do. I charged the battery like the paper said to 3 to 4 hours.
I have never had any trouble with doing this. Maybe I'll
do more next time. I use the wall A/C charger.
The other blue battery works just fine.
I would lke to know what all the blinks mean.
It seems there are different blinks for different things.
When the bad battery light stayed on that is when it would burn off. I unscrewed it real fast so the atty woundn't burn.

I had one do this after many uses. I did everything you were supposed to do and the bugger eventually did as you described Ann. It's never charged correctly after that. I think someone suggest charging it over night or something but I think, once the bugger is dead, it's dead. If it's new the seller should replace it promptly. Out of many 901 batteries I have only had the one do this and curiously it was a blue battery! good Luck!

I have found that the switches in some batteries are temperature sensitive (vs. the ones that count the number of puffs). When this phenomena occurs, and you unscrew the battery from the charger. does the very top of the battery feel pretty warm? If so then, the switch in the battery is very temperature sensitive. Do not use it, allow it to cool for about 1/2hr, and then re-attach to the charger. Keep doing that until you can reattach without the charger indicator light going green within the first few minutes. At that point in time the battery should be really fully charged.

Let me know if you try this and let me know if this works for you.

Also, never leave your batteries charging when you are not available to monitor them, due to the previously posted risk of fire when charging any lithium-ion batteries.

Hi Ann,

The Battery Is Just Defective or Got Wet Juicing (if u were juicing or got it wet another way).

U Did the right thing unscrewing it when it stuck on with the atom attached.

Since U Said the Other battery Is Fine & Works I would assume again that this is a battery issue. So that should eliminate: U know or have an idea of what your doing and the charger is functioning.

I would contact the seller (under warranty or not still contact them about the issue) and not use that battery again, don't bother fiddling around with it, its not worth it. (Period)

As For The Blinking When On The Atomizer It Can Vary With Some manufacturers, The Manual Should State What is What (Mr Manufacturer Do U Hear Me?) , But usually 4 to 8 blinks is time out(too many puffs to quick and / or dry cart, it suppose to reset in about 2 minutes), 10 to 20 Blinks, Battery needs re-charging or is possible going into cleaning mode, again depends on the brand and or manufacturer.

Again, When a Battery is put on the Battery Charger, the Charger LED should be Solid Red Color, Then the LED will turn Solid Green Color usually under an Hour, Yellow LED Color is Defect (on some chargers). Alternating Red & Green Colors Will Vary For Which Battery & Which Charger On Some Models / Brands.

A Solid Color Green LED Is Not An Indication That The Battery Is Fully Charged (If Not On Charger Per Required Time Periods, 1 to 6 Hours for most Batts on many but not all)! (Theory, Design & Manufacturer, Low or High Quality IC Chips / Parts used are all variables).

Others will tell u differently, tell u to bang this, use a pin, blow it, charge it this way or that way (all temporary possibly fixes that will void your warranty and/or definitely trash it). BUT You Make The Decision. ;)

I had this problem with three out of five new 801 batteries. After a bit of charging, the charger would reboot and the battery would then flash as if it had just been inserted. Perhaps 10 seconds later this would repeat, indefinitely. I think this is a defect in the batteries as the chargers work fine with other 801 batteries and the batteries produce this in all the chargers.

These batteries have an extremely short life if I try to use them for vaping.

I have 2 new 112 batt. from Beste-cig that flash when I touch them and won't hold charge and I charged for over 4 hrs each.Waiting to hear from supplier. They are both dead and were flashing when I got them

Stike

Initial Charge is 8 - 12 Hrs on The 112's! Then 4-6 hours after that...

Yes When You Touch Them The Light Can Go Off, not an issue at this time.

These Does Not Mean They Are Defective, I have received Dozens of 112 bats from Best-ecig that way from them, No Issues. You Could have bad batts, but since you did not due the initial charge and you provided limited info can't tell.

Keep Vapin!

wow, I would just like to thank all of you for replying to this post.
I have learned so much from all of you.

CellMeister, Thank you so much for all you have done to teach me all about the batteries. It is nice to know that it's not just me, it is a battery problem. I'm going to print off all the info about the led lights so I can have that on hand. You are so nice to help me, and other people.

The manual said 2 to 3 hours, but I figured over 4 would be ok.I usually do 8 to 12 .When these batteries did not work right after charging I put them back on over 8 hrs still not working.I just tried them after the 4 hours maybe 2 or 3 drags.Could I have ruined them buy trying them after 4 hours. Thanks for your input.I know charger is good, because it works on other batts. They are still turning on when touched
