100%. You'll lose about 13% battery capacity, but gain almost double the safe limit for current draw. When comparing the two, Molicels are a more "safe" choice than the 30Q's, and will likely last you more cycles due to its lower heat generation.
I'm a chain vaper and my battery is warm when I pull it out to charge it. Will that improve?

Well I looked around and it seems that in terms of savings the P26A is just about your only choice if you want significant savings over the 30Q.

At 22W on a regulated mod, the Molicel M35A 10 amp 3500mah battery is cutting it too close IMHO. You're under 8A at 22w, but there are factors to consider that could make that a bad choice. Now if you can turn it down a couple watts to like 19 or 20, then this could be a better choice. But I know, that's like asking a bird to give up flying.

    Yes.

Say you have a car that has a tachometer that goes to 7500 rpms (Molicel P26A's = 25A CDR = 75W safe usage cap, which is why I used 7500 rpms, lol). It's saying it's capable of 7500 rpms, but that you're really going to make it work, generating a lot of heat. If you're only revving the engine to 2200 rpms (22W), then you're taking it quite easy on that engine.

It May. And it Can. It also May Not.

A certain amount of Heat is Generated when a Battery Discharges. But also a Lot of Heat is Created by your Atomizer when you Chain Vape. And that heat travels into you Mod/Battery.

Also, Holding a Mod a Lot causes everything to get Warm.

On my Daily Driver, a Wismec Surface with a NarDa rda, I run at a similar Ohms/Wattage. 0.42 Ohms/25 Watts. The 30Q's,P26A's, and Epoch 30P's I run get a little warm when I Chain Vape.

But It is more from the Heat coming off the RDA. And My Hand holding the Mod while I read ECF Posts.

Only when you read ECF posts? Lol

I know it Sounds Funny, but that is about the Only Time I Chain Vape.

I have this Wooden Riser I build for my Desk that gets the LCD's up Higher. And my Wismec sits on it. I don't really carry it around when I do stuff in the House. Or when I work in the Yard. It just sits on the Riser all day.

When I sit at the Desk for a Long Time, it is almost Always while I'm on the ECF.

So Yeah, that's about the Only Time I Chain Vape.

    LOL

What made you buy a branded battery/rewrap? Availability?

    How do you like it?

I was overdue to Retire 2 Batteries from my Daily Rotation, but at the time with COVID, everything was OOS. I Mean Everything.

But I saw Mooch did a Review on those 30P's and it was Decent. And the 18650BatteryStore had them In Stock. So I decided to give them a Shot.

    Bench Test Results: Epoch 30P - 15A 3000mAh 18650…decent performer at a lower price

For the Watts I do, they seem to Work Great. And their Capacity seems to be as Stated. Price really Wasn't a Factor. Because a Dollar one way or the other Isn't all that Meaningful too me.

I'm Happy with them. And have No Complaints. Although they might Not have been My 1st Choice if other 3000mAh or so Cells had been Available at the Time.

I'll admit, before I took the trip down the battery rabbit hole, I had already purchased several batteries in preparation for my "stocking". Luckily, I'd only purchased 6 Efest, a couple pair of Hohm Techs, and a couple pair of Golisis which all ended up being okay on Mooch's review list. I will further admit that none of my 18650's fit into my Gen 3 Dual Reuleaux I got not long ago, so I scanned almost the entire list of Mooch's reviews to find batteries that had a tighter tolerance in diameter measurements and ended up with some Imrens. I know, I know, shame shame. All batteries have checked out performance wise though, so I'm going to thank my lucky stars on that.

How much thicker are those rewraps compared to OEMs. Every rewrap I've ever bought has considerably thicker wraps than any OEM I have owned, especially samsung who seem to have the thinnest wraps. I have only ever had to rewraped one rewrap battery so far since the original wraps tend to last a long time.

18650BatteryStore says those Epoch 30P are approximately 18.25mm x 65.05mm. Mine spec-ed out at with a Max Diam of 18.4mm each by 65.07mm. And Fit everything I have put them in.

The wrap appears to Not be Overly Thick or Overly Thin. Just Goldilocks.

The wrap on these Imrens are very similar to the same style of wrap you'd find on an OEM. In fact, they're probably thinner than the Molicel wraps. Same style wrap as the Lishen.

See, the P26A's measured out on most sites to around 18.4mm, and those wouldn't fit in the tiny azz Reuleaux, so I was looking at various sites with an average measurement as close to 18mm as possible.
