See, the P26A's measured out on most sites to around 18.4mm, and those wouldn't fit in the tiny azz reuleaux, so I was looking at various sites with an average measurement as close to 18mm as possible.

Sounds like those Wismec designers had/have BRP, Battery Rattle Phobia. And made the Battery space just a Tad Too Small on that mod.

    I think their objective was to make this mod as tiny as possible for a dual battery, and to that end, did a very good job of it. But damn, lol. My only gripe really, is that the 510 is press-fitted and not screwed in. I'm very leery of these 510's if they happen to be dropped with a tank on them.

    As far as the 510, that's a common gripe with Joyetech brands.

    As far as the battery wells in relation to the outer size of the mods, they likely could have made the battery wells 0.4mm wider without adding any size to the outside of the mods. Having to hunt down the proper size battery/use a battery you wouldn't normally use isn't exactly preferable to most vaper that would use such mods. They should know better than that.

    For regulated devices the
    BAK N18650CNP 20A 2500mah might be a good alternative as well.
    At 10A they actually last longer than the 30Q down to 3.4V.
    I gave them a shot a few weeks ago, and I'm very pleased with their performance so far, more so for the price of about only 2€ per cell.

    Bench Test Results: BAK N18650NCP - 30A 2500mAh 18650...about equal to Samsung 25R

    @Mooch
    Sorry man, but you misspelled the cells designation. It's CNP not NCP.

    I'll admit, before I took the trip down the battery rabbit hole, I had already purchased several batteries in preparation for my "stocking". Luckily, I'd only purchased 6 Efest, a couple pair of Hohm Techs, and a couple pair of Golisis which all ended up being okay on Mooch's review list. I will further admit that none of my 18650's fit into my Gen 3 Dual Reuleaux I got not long ago, so I scanned almost the entire list of Mooch's reviews to find batteries that had a tighter tolerance in diameter measurements and ended up with some Imrens. I know, I know, shame shame. All batteries have checked out performance wise though, so I'm going to thank my lucky stars on that.
    I have had several of Hohm batteries in my daily rotation for well over a year. THey are holding up well to heavy use and not a single nick in the wrapper.

    I have hohm tech 26650 batts I got on clearance during those mega sales in 2019. The wraps are thick like any other rewrap brand, but on the only one Ive used so far the wrap strangely sliced around the insulator, perfect slice. Never had a wrap slice like that. The FT wraps I bought for them have held up very well.

    Years ago I had several AW batteries slice like that. It was my charger that was causing it.

    I use Samsung 30Q but the price has nearly doubled since I last bought them. Can I swap them for Molicel P26As? I vape 0.5 ohms at 22 watts.
    I switched from Samsung to Molicel last year. And me a lifelong Samsung fan too...go for it, you'll be fine.

    same here. ALL my new batteries are Molicells. I bought quite a haul last month during Black Friday sales at 18650 .com and Liion (spelling?)battery.
