My battery's (an 1100mAh ego-T I got off Ebay) internal threading went wonky tonight and won't screw in/hold my iSmoka BCC Mega anymore this evening. Having to look around and decide if I want to buy again on Ebay and so far no luck on just a battery at a reasonable price <$12. Pretty sure mine was a knock off eGo-T. Is there a better brand or place to shop for a genuine eGo-T?
Thank you,
Meg

Do you have another tank you could try? I have one ego battery that will not thread an Iclear tank. Tried an aspire and it was fine?

Hm..not a tank that has the inner (I mean, goes inside the ego-T battery) threading that my ismoka BCC Mega does, sadly. Right now, I just stuck the T3s that I got last week on it. Before I read I could order an ego to ego adapter (haven't found one yet by googling), I ordered a VV 1100mah LED replacement battery. Was only a few dollars more than the start kit I paid for where I got the knock off ego-T.

The ismoka did work fine before this week so I have no idea what could have happened. It works fine on my Kamry K100 battery.

a lot of the EGO connectors use brass fittings to cut down on cost. Look at the fittings themselves, and if they have that brownish color, chances are that's what you have. I think most EGOs have that type of connector. It is extremely easy to crossthread it, and if you have enough leverage when you tighten it, you might not even know you're crossthreading.

As far as the EGO to EGO adapter, you might want to look for an EGO airflow adapter. not only does it have an EGO to EGO threading, but it also allows for you to increase or decrease the airflow. Here's a link to one from Madvapes: eGo Battery Airflow Controller

If you want some inexpensive batteries and are willing to wait a month, Give Fasttech a try. I ordered an 1100Mah VV ego for under $12. It's a good backup battery or an on the road battery. If it breaks.. no worries, it's only $12. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1408806

Thank you!! Gonna check out this adapter. I just ordered an igo-W from Fast Tech. I can wait for the price I paid. :). I probably did cross-thread. The fittings do look brown to me. Not good light in here, will have to double check again tomorrow. Doesn't look like anything is wrong to the naked eye but it definitely won't let my ismoka screw on properly. I've tried three times. Oh well, live and learn!
