I have one of those chargers. I bought it because at the time I had a lot of 18350 batteries to charge. Well I still do, but I use other chargers now instead of this one.
What I didn't like about it was the flimsy springs used in the holding bays. They get pinched out of alignment when you put the battery in to charge. I much prefer the chargers that use spacers or sliding slots. Being from xtar it should be a decent and safe charger.
Not having any stroke over it. Not surprised either when reports come in about problems with Nitecore chargers either. Unfortunately - not surprised at all.
It has been my experience that as many Nitecore i4 owners do not fully understand how the chargers actually work, as do. Possibly due to the fact that many folk just want a charger where they can pop their batteries in and get them out when charged, plus the i4 Owners Manual is arguably the most obtuse document, lending itself to confusion rather than lucid explanation.
A quick, "Me too," Bad. I'm not on the forum much but it seems like every time I am, one of your posts appears with just what I'm looking for. Like this one. You truly save lives. I hope you enjoy earning such good karma from something you seem to enjoy and do so well.
