Battery charger question

Hello,

I recently purchased a buzz pro and I could not be happier. The service and product I received from Notcigs is top quality and I am in heaven tasting my juices on a fantastic VV device for the first time. Everything works flawlessly including the tank and ordering was quick and painless.

I have one question though, When I charge my batteries I am hearing a faint high pitched whining noise. I am using the powerizer batts and charger that came with my Buzz Pro. The battery life is excellent and I only hear the sound while they are on the charger.

I poked around the internet a bit looking for a cause and solution but did not find much. Is this normal, or should I be concerned? I tend to be a bit paranoid regarding unprotected batts after reading about some of the horror stories on these forums.

That does happen on some chargers , keep an eye on it and for now do not leave them un attended , If anything seems funky unplug it , we have had a few fail but they just crap out and do not charge.

I wouldn't know if it happened on mine because I have that sound in my ears 24 / 7 / 365. I never heard of it though. I wonder why it does that?

Upon further investigation I see it's a quite well known issue on some chargers. They're saying it is emitted by the capacitors that some chargers use. Nothing to be worried about but it could be a nuisance for sure.

It is quiet enough that I do not even really notice the sound until I go to the charger to remove the batts. I like to put them on the charger when I go to bed, so I think I am going to just order anther charger to be safe. I wanted to order another set of batts anyway.

Interesting. I've noticed this also, but only when the batts are discharged to the point that my infinity or buzz won't fire anymore, and then only at the beginning of the charging cycle. If I switch out my batts earlier, I don't hear it.

Mine does it as well Dosey, but I try to only charge mine when I am awake. I did order a spare charger though as I am seeing a bit of bare wire where it connects to the charger. YIKES!

DO you mean the AC POWER CORD ( the one that plugs in the wall ) ??? If so do NOT use it !

Yes Mike, it's the power cord right where the red wire connects to the unit.
