Battery Charger Spacers

I've read some mentions of 'spacers' for charger units. Are they magnetic or just conductive spacers? And what are they called so I can find them?

Home Depot or Lowe's hardware department. They are neodymium disc magnets. Powerful little buggers. Stick one on the positive end of your battery. They are brittle, so don't let them snap together. They break pretty easy. Come in 10 or 20 packs for a couple dollars.
