I am getting a mod. It comes with a 14500 battery. It doesnt come with a charger. Can I use a normal charger for standard rechargeable batteries for this? One of the 3 chargers I have can be set for battery size/strength. I'm thinking it might be doable.

Please dont answer in theory. I'm sure someone has actually tried this and can tell what the outcome will be.:2cool:

Assume I know how to charge a battery
Assume I know how to use a spacer if necessary
Assume I know to take it off the charger within minutes of full charge indicator

No and No

These chargers that you have pics of are not rated to handle the load of your batts. You're looking for something around 4.2V or better at 500Ma (output of course)

You can pick up a Trustfire multi for around 9 bucks from a myriad of suppliers outside of this industry.
Think outside the box but don't burn your house down. :p

OK The 14500 can safely be charged by a 3.6V charger and being as it is essentially a dubA batt you might be ok with that. I would not leave them on while I was out though. Hate to be a doom sayer but I just fear for my home. haha

You also need to make sure everything fits...... 14 = circumference 50 = height and of course 0 is for round but I'm sure you already knew all of that.
I say give it a try and keep your eye on it keep touch testing it to make sure it's not overheating. If you have a multimeter try to test the charge at intervals to verify your charger is bringing itself out of it's fired up charging rage as the battery nears capacity.
Make sure it doesn't try to exceed the batteries rating. Safe not sorry.
