Battery charger

Does anyone know of a battery charger that shows how much the charge is.

Never heard of one,just the red and green lights.

I have a xtar battery charger now that uses red and green lights then i put them on a voltage reader after. I also use the voltage reader before charging. But it would be so much simpler to have this done in a battery charger like you can get for other types of batteries.

The Nitecore I4 has lights as well, but does not show you a voltage read out. The LUC charger from Efest does though:

There are all kinds of battery testers on the market that will tell you how well your store-bought battery (anything from AAAs to mercury cells) is doing at the moment but I've yet to see one that will test an 18xxx battery.

Is there such an animal - just a little plug n play that you can check your batts - and better yet... one that will tell you approximately what's available/left on the current battery?

I'm not talking a multimeter or anything like that, just a little battery tester for larger batts..........

And if not.... why not.....???

It'd be nice if there was a charger that displayed the mah put into it. My RC lipo charger does, might be a fun weekend project putting something together .

radio shack has a couple of different ones, was just looking at them tonight, decided to upgrade my multimeter instead.

I know the Luc says it's the "Face-changing superman" but.....mines full of beans. It says my batts are charged to 4.2v but when I pull them off and test them with a multimeter they are uselly around 3.9-4.0, the bad thing is, it stops charging them when the screen says 4.2 wethar they really are or not. You can pull the battery off, put it back on and it will give you a different voltage and start charging it again. I'm looking for a new charger, I just don't trust the "Face-Changing Superman" anymore.
