Battery chargers? Help plz.

Hey everyone i have a single cell charger and i went to put my 18650 to charge and the led came on while it was not plugged in. Is there something wrong? Dont want to take any risks and have some thing go wrong. In the pic below it looks like the flash is why the led is on but its on and not plugged in. It has never done this before. TIA.

This what I use. Never had a problem.

Also, it may be discharging your battery.

I agree. Without seeing the charger with the battery removed, it looks like the battery is in backwards. Is it? (That could explain a lot...)
