Battery charging question

So, I just got my Kamry K101 kit. It has two batteries and a charger. With the charger, there is a small, round PCB with a magnet on one side, like a button, and a small resistor or capacitor, not sure which.

The batteries are flat tops, so I am thinking that it's a way to add a nipple for charging. However, I am unclear what the resistor might be for.

When I put the battery on the charger with the chip on the positive end, the light stayed green, indicating a full charge, but if I take it off, the charger goes into charge mode.

The batteries are Kamry brand.. one 18650 and one 16350

The item with the magnet on it sounds like the fuse that some companies ship with the kits. Don't use it on the charger, the magnet sticks to the bottom (Negative) side of the battery when you insert it into the mod and it trips and shuts the mod down in the event of a short.

That is actually a fuse that goes in the mod along with the battery. Its there to add a little safety in case of a short in the atomizer.

Thanks! The magnet was stuck to the charger, so I figured it was part of that.
