Hey all,

I got the Torpedo/ego and wanted to know if its ok to leave the battery in the charging unit even when it shows the green light indicating its fully charged. I'm getting a whole day and night out off one off these bad boys and the other battery is charged in like 2-3 hours and just sits there until next day and then I change them round, even though the battery I'm using is still performing great.

Just dont want to leave it on the charge for a full day and night if its going to damage it.

Both the battery and the charger have protection circuits so the only thing that could possibly go wrong is that both happen to fail at the same time.

I remove most of mine after they're charged. The self discharge rate is minimal on most lithium ion/poly batts - like losing 2% in a month so taking them off the charger doesn't diminish the charge in a day or so.

Your call.

I wondered the same thing for my tornado. I am still not 100% sure of the answer. If the units are protected, they should be ok but the info posted on the totallywicked site warns about overcharging lithium ion batteries. I only leave the bats on the charger until they are charged and I get 24 hours out of one (includes sleepy time - approx 6pm-6pm). I usually go threw about 4ml of liquid a day. Hope you enjoy the battery life as much as I do. I love my tornado!!!
