Battery charging

I have the joye ego mega.when new the battery needed 8hrs to charge, now when it blinks all it need to charge is about a hour or so when the green lite comes on. Is this normal

The instructions that came with your kit are old and outdated. You don't have to charge your batteries for 8 hours before you use them. Li-Ion batteries are shipped with about an 80% charge on them. Set one up, put the other on the charger.

What kind of battery is it? My ego batteries (750, 900, 1000) charge in about 2 hours. That's on the ego battery charger.

People read instructions? That's your first mistake.

Kidding. My 510 came with instructions like that- charge for 8 hours, use for 1 hour and put back on the charger. I did that with one battery and thought it was a little nuts and didn't do it with my second battery.
