i see at madvapes they say that i can use 3v 16340 batteries for 6v vaping and 3.7v 18350 for 7.4 volt vaping, but i have 3.7v 16340s from another mod can i stack those for 7.4 also what ohm atty or carto do i need for7.4v so that everything does not taste burnt or blow attys. 1 more question i got my RS used at a reseller how can i tell if i have a v1 or a v2 roughstak
thanks for your help:facepalm:

I think the only difference between the two is the machining. The new roughstack has better threads than the v1.

You can definitely stack those batteries, I've found that a High Voltage atomizer (at least 4.2 ohms) are good for this configuration. Note that on two fully charged 3.7v batteries you're really getting something like 8-8.4 volts. Some crazy vaping!

I second that jimbalny, I have the Maxi RoughStack V2 with two 16340 3.7v and it’s crazy. The only way I can get it to work at 7.4v is with Joye Dripomizer Cartomizer 2.0ohm. It has blown several attys/cartos and several attys/cartos just don’t work on it, it is weird. I try them on the Maxi and they don’t work, I put them on my E-Power or Silver Bullet and bam they fire. I just tried a Fluxomizer on it and when I hit the element glowed bright red, that can’t be good. I really like vaping at 7.4 volts but I wish someone would give me and colt 45 the set up to run this thing on 7.4v, I think that is what he is asking too. I know the 16340 are pretty tight I don’t know about the 18350 that might be pushing it a little. The 18650 works great for 3.7v vaping and the 16340 are very tight but work. Not to jack the thread but someone please chime in, thanks.

Also the difference in the v1 and v2 is the v1 are a little taller....I stack 18350 in the v1 for 7.4v and it closes fine in the v2 they will work but can't screw cap all the way down. Also I use the trustfire 3.7v in both with no problems. As far as atties and cartos I use 5.0ohm cartos and atties for HV vaping. You can use the 4.5ohm and have but I like the 5.0 better at 7.4v.I mainly vape at 6v with 1.6ohm dual cartos with the 16340 3.0 stacked or the 3.0 haobas.

Edit:Now my V1 is a older one and maybe taller than somes V1 not sure maybe Hoog will chime in and let us know if all v1 are a little taller than v2.
