I'd suggest trying a new battery as long as you are not noticing the power device auto firing.
Any of these are quality 3000mah 20a CDR cells.

There is no such thing as an authentic mxjo battery, they are 2nd to recycle bin grade cells from actual manufacturers in mxjo wraps.
Only buy from reputable dealers/vendors to avoid lesser quality re wrapped, erroneous amp claims & counterfeit cells.

I just got one and my kbox mini acts funky, The battery indicator flashes and tells me I need a recharge (I guess thats what it means) when the battery gauge is still at %40 full. Anytime it drops below %50 percent it will start to do this, even though it clearly has juice left as shown by the battery life gauge. I wonder if this is normal functioning? Some type of "protection" feature perhaps. Defect or normal - either way its annoying.
none of the 3 kbox mini's I have do this... my hubby is terrible for not checking battery power and has run his till they show a hair above dead... no flashing at all. we're using the lg hg2's though. you might be using a battery that has too low amps for your wattage.
what ohms? it will flash if you're too low for ohms and high on wattage for the batteries
I just used the coils that came with the starter kit so whatever ohms those were.
Where did you get your LGHG batteries at? I've been looking and there are a lot of knock-offs around it seems.
I found someone who has the same problem as me on reddit. They said a new battery fixed it. Praying thats all it is... As the store I bought it from does not seem like they want to replace it.

I am not in Canada, anyone else know where I can get an authentic one for a reasonable price?
My white KBox Mini does this to me. Has been for a few months. Before I noticed it, IT had drained one of my batts below 2.5 v
The thing actually acts like I am charging the battery through the port, though its not plugged in. Now, if I use it, I remember to pull the battery as soon as I'm done vaping. Looking around, It is amazing how expensive these little bitties still are. The cheapest I can find is from China for ~$30
Ebay ones can be had for cheap though and (if not authentic) probably not far from the real thing since they all come from China anyways.
