I posted a few days ago about the troubles that I'm having with my XL batteries. Now one has gone completely dead, and I'm trying to see if I can fix one that faulted about a month ago. The newly dead, I believe is truly newly dead ... it's one of the oldest and no longer will even light the LED. The older faulted one lights the LED quite brightly but doesn't provide power to a known-good carto.

I thought that I had read about people having an issue similar to this and being able to readjust the center pole in the battery to get good contact again. While I'm not sure that this will correct my issue, I want to try but cannot find any of the posts describing what I should do. Can someone assist, please?

Thanks!
Jan

Yes, it sounds as if the connections on the battery and on the cart are not meeting. Take a pin, or an extremely small screwdriver (like for glasses),
and gently pry the round center post in the CARTO upwards a little (evenly). Then try. If it still isn't meeting, do the same thing to the center
round post on the battery. That has been the answer in EVERY case of mine where the battery lights up, but you cannot get any vapor, or anything
at all out of the mouthpiece. Let me know if that helped you. I assume you have already checked that the battery has been cleaned, and the
holes are cleared. THANKS. Sally
