Battery for eVic-VTC Mini

I need help with buying batteries and a charger for my eVic-VTC Mini (what brands and models to buy and where to buy them from). Beyond the names, I know next to nothing about batteries, ohms, watts, volts and amps but I gather that using the 'wrong' battery in one's mod can be dangerous.

PS The eVic-VTC Mini' manual recommends the Sony US18650VTC4.

With a 60W max power level you can use the LG HG2 3000mAh 20A battery and enjoy its extra capacity over the VTC4 battery. But, the VTC4 is a fantastic battery if you decide to use that. A lot of fake VTC4's floating around though, only buy from a reputable vendor like....

For a charger, anything by Xtar, Efest, or Nitecore would be a good choice.

+1 to getting genuine batteries.

The latest firmware update of the VTC mini brings the max power to 75W. I found that my presumably fake VTC5s got the 'weak battery' message when vaping above 60W.

I switched to Efest "35A" flat tops which I had lying around. I understand those aren't really 35A, but don't get the weak battery message anymore.

I assume you meant 35A the second time around.

Anywho, the Samsung 25R's are good batteries to go with. 2500mah and has a high CDR.
