Battery for Innokin Cool Fire 1

I was wondering if anyone uses both flat top and nipple top batteries with this mod. When I've googled it I find "absolutely only use flat top" AND "both flat and nipple top work". I was hoping someone who uses both can tell me their experience with it. Thanks everyone in advance.

I remember that mod. I dont think it matters as long as you are using the right kind IMR and amperage. But I dont imagine that pulls enough amps to worry. in most cases the worst that happens is the bottom cap has a slight gap where it wont screw on all of the way. the Mod cant tell the difference between the power from a nipple or flat its all the same. If both positive and negative make contact your all good.

i have that mod and im pretty sure ive used both types of batteries. dont quote me though, i could be wrong.

We have 2 of those that the wife uses. Started with AW 18350 and 18650 button tops with no problems. I just bought 2 efest 18350 800mah flat tops for another mod and checked to see it they worked in the Coolfire. Yep just fine. The Coolfire has a spring loaded bottom pin.
