I just received a nemesis clone, it is very well constructed with great threads and finish. However I configure it I can't get an 18650 battery to fit.

What battery size is the nemesis designed for?

thanks.

The nemesis can accommodate 18350, 18500, and 18650's.

It should come with a switch, topcap, an 18350 tube, a short 18500 extender, a longer extender for 18650, and a tiny silver beauty ring.

Is the problem the mod is too short to fit the battery or are you just having battery rattle/loose battery?

If its just a loose battery (ie the mod seems to long) make sure you remove the tiny silver beauty ring.

Thanks all Its working wonderfull with the little 123A sized AW's, I didn't remove the beauty ring when I was trying the 18650's.

But I think I'm going to keep it short, It is really small and light, great for short trips. I guess with a mechanical you pretty much get what the battery voltage is left, I like the simplicity. for $33 bucks this is a nice addition and very handy. So simple could probably last a life time.

Does anyone happen to know the high capacity 123a size battery?

This thing is still just too long for an 18650, so I ordered an 18500 battery and kick. It works great with the little 18350's but mine are only the AMR 800mAH 6 Wattts, they seem to be working. with a 2.2 coil.

I sent a photo of all the pieces to the ebay seller to see if one is missing. But I like the short 18350 tube and will keep it regardless.

That AW is about the best battery out there for mech mod use.

The purple "10.5" amp batteries do not last as long as the AW batteries in my experience, both in useable vape time and charge cycles.

No 18350 battery out there is a particularly long lasting option.

If its a true clone, you'll have this silver disk/screw. Unscrew it a little bit (not all the way off) to accommodate if your battery is too small.

The 2 tubes on my desk, you don't need for 18650. They are for if you want to 18500, or an 18650+kick

I just can't understand how it wont take an 18650 unless they shorted ya a tube or something, could you upload that pic of the parts you have for us to look at?

EFest makes a purple line that has a very good 18350, 18500 and 18650 (several different ones with different ratings all good with mecs)

Yes those are high wattage batteries. The funny thing is the taste is better with the AW 18350 vs the AW18650 I just found out. My only explanation is the AW 18350 is sagging voltage a little and not burning the e-juice at too high a voltage as a fresh 18650 so I ordered a cheap kick module. Don't want to as I love the compact size with the 18350, but I don't think its good for voltage sag as at 2 ohm I'm probably a bit over the wattage rating of the AW 18350.

Now a battery effecting taste is new for me but then after 50+ years of cigarettes my taste buds haven't come back completely if they ever will. The only time I notice a taste drop off is in a my nemesis as the battery drains hence I use a kick with most kayfuns and such but not with my drippers.

Well I think the smaller battery is sagging voltage a bit, so more flavor. Probably not good for the battery though.
