The 1600mAh over the 2000. I like my new 18650 AW IMR 2200mAh the best. You'll get different opinions on this subject. :)

The Samsung 25R flat tops work well in the Woodvils. I mostly have the AW IMR 1600mAh. Most are over a year old. Buying some new batteries and slowly switching out the older ones.

The Samsung 25R FLAT-TOP are not too long and don't over compress the spring. They last longer and I really like them.

Both my woodvil's are at the spa now, 510's are a no go, but the plated contacts are being installed. Have been using the new 2200 aw's and love them

It has been awhile since Robert commented on the new 510's for existing wood REO's. Good to know one way or another if they can be retrofitted. Thank you for posting the information!

What is your favorite battery to use on your woodvils? Is an AW IMR 1600 ok? How about a 2000?

The AW2000 is a 10 amp battery. I wouldn't use it for builds below about .6 ohms, which would allow for a cushion. The AW2200 is a 20 amp battery. The AW1600 is rated 24 amps.

Yeah definitely not on the previous Woodvils. After you see the LP 510 connector and button setup on the new Woodvils it will apparent why the order models are a no go. It was the first thing I asked about when the LP 510 were first mentioned.

Here is a post from Robert that kind of fits here, click the link to see when he posted: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/563150-mechanical-reo-woodvil-6.html#post14525792
I have the proto type dialed in . This will be a mechanical mod the button will be on the side . Finally a wood mod with a button that wont die I am stoked about that .
Anti button masher built in another bonus . Break a contact no problem users will be able to change the contacts on there own . I dont see this happening ever actually I have set the mod up so you cant over compress the button . Springs will be very much like a grand not soldered if you drop a spring it will be easy to replace .
So the journey begins shooting for 250 to 300 woodvils . These will all have the new stainless steel adjustable hoople proof 510 connections .
I will post picks of the proto type this weekend early next week at the latest . Of course the proto type wont have the new 510 connection I am still waiting for the parts .
The mod will look very much like a standard woodvil on the outside a whisker shorter the on off switch will be built into the button
