Just got my red kamry k100 and the battery fuse that came in the kit was magnetically stuck to the charger and I didn't notice that it wasn't part of the charger until I started charging the battery. I did think that this floppy part of the charger was a bit odd but it was magnetically stuck on so I didn't tempt fate by trying to tear it off.
so.. Be that as it may..

1) did I just harm the fuse by leaving it on the charger and using the charger for my 18650 battery (over violating)
2) what is the proper way to use the magnetic fuse?
  • Positive terminal (bottom of the k100)
  • way down inside the tube (negative side)
  • magnet on the battery?
  • magnet of the bottom side (so the button touches the magnet to ignite the k100)

Sorry to ask a question that seem rudimentary to many but I don't want to pop the fuse or hurt anything else in the process.
the fuse is pretty tight in the tube and I don't think I could get it all the way inside without getting it such so I assume it sits on the bottom.
and magnet side on the positive terminal of the battery.

but then again I am still learning.

Oh I just called it what they called it. They call it a kick and a fuse. The video showed her putting it on the positive terminal and up inside the k100. She said something, hard to understand at time with her thick accent, about it being important to note positive and negative and using the fuse or kick.
But she def. Used the positive side and positive side pushed into the.k100. Not on the trigger side.
This was a video on the k100 product page.
The k100 works any way you put the battery in so I guess in a way I am not sure what difference it makes.. Top or bottom ?? Outside of the little contacts picking up juice or a short from the 510 connector

I use it on my hammer under the switch to extend the contact to the inner body of the mod.
It works fine as long as the mod uses the body to complete the circuit

Good idea! I got mine to kick with an 18490 in it. It doesn't tighten all the way down, but its snug and secure.
