Dear Battery Geniuses,
I have what is probably a dumb question, but I am hoping you might have a smart answer.
I work with multirotor UAV's, and currently we are using 20,000 LiPo batteries, with a 30c rating. As you can imagine, this is a big, heavy battery pack. So why can't we wire up 10 AW IMR 18650's? Same voltage requirements, same MAH, and I know some of the sony batteries are good for 30a now.
I am sure there is a reason its not being done, but I want to know what that reason is!
