The AW manufacturing plant recently suffered flood damage, so supplier availability for AW's will be unavailable for an undetermined amount of time.Everyone seems to be out of stock of AW batteries.
IMHO, AW 18350 is the top performer in the 18350 class. You'll have to read Mooch's limited testing of the 18350 batteries to see what other batteries might make a decent substitute. I know when I used a Mini Provari a few years ago I used AW and Efest, and the AW were clearly superior in performance and duty cycle.

I'm pretty sure that Lg, Samsung, and Sony don't make 18350 IMR batteries. I'm not sure about Panasonic/Sanyo. That means that the 14500, 18350, and 18490/18500 batteries are probably made in China.
AW is often described as a "re-wrapper" company. I've thought that since AW came out with the first IMR batteries for the retail market that they have been making their own batteries in China, but that is my conjecture only. An exception might be the AW 18650 IMR 3000mah 20 amp battery, probably an LG HG2 rewrap. AW's 18350 and 18490 batteries have always been the best performers in their respective classes.
