Hi Maine,
Just a couple of days ago one of my first batteries did something similar. A couple of members told me to smack/tap it. That worked to get the light to go out, but it was obviously still defective as the light never would come back on, and it made an odd sizzling sound when I would try to connect it with the atomizer. I will admit that I was happy just to have the light go out though as I was starting to wonder if the thing was going to blow up or something.
On a good note -- The supplier replaced the battery when I contacted him concerning it.
Have you tried to contact your supplier to let them know?

I have a battery that is turning on by itself. Very weird. Just sitting on the desk it turned on and stayed on. I tapped it and unscrewed it from the atty and it still stayed on...I should email the store but, but figure I'll wait and see if it happens again. (it finally did stay off ) I mixed it up with the other 2 batteries now and don't know which one it is.

Probably a stuck switch from juice getting in there. Spank it.

No seriously blow on the LED end of it and then take it threading side up and tap it hard on the table about 10 times. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
